Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policy

Last updated: 26 June 2026

This policy governs use of Embue (`networkembu.com`) and describes the email-sending standards we hold ourselves to.

1. Our email-sending standards

We are committed to permission-based email. Specifically: - **We email you for a proper reason, on a proper basis.** Your subscription digest is part of the product you pay for and is sent as a service message. Optional newsletters are sent only if you **explicitly opt in**. Any marketing to people who are not yet subscribers relies on the **"soft opt-in"** permitted by PECR (and an opt-out basis for business contacts). Registering an account on its own does not sign you up to marketing. - **We identify ourselves clearly.** Every email shows who it is from, comes from our authenticated domain `ukmail.networkembu.com`, and includes our postal contact details. - **Leaving is easy.** Every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe and a link to manage your preferences. We honour opt-outs promptly and keep a suppression list so we do not contact you again. - **We manage deliverability responsibly.** We authenticate our mail with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and we automatically suppress addresses that bounce or generate complaints. - **We don't sell or rent your address**, and we don't send on behalf of unrelated third parties. If you ever receive email from us that you did not expect, please tell us at **privacy@networkembu.com** and we will investigate.

2. Acceptable use of the service

When using Embue, you must not: - break any law, or infringe anyone's rights; - share your account credentials, or access content you have not subscribed to; - copy, scrape, harvest or systematically download our content, or use automated tools against the site, without our written permission; - attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or test the security of our systems; - upload anything malicious, or misuse our forms (including nomination or contact forms) to send spam or unlawful content.

3. Reporting abuse

To report misuse of our service or our email, contact **hello@networkembu.com**.

4. Consequences of breach

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this policy, remove offending content, and where appropriate report unlawful activity to the authorities.
